All-rounder Jayant Yadav was appointed the captain of the Indian team on Sunday (November 4) for the Irmining Team Asia Cup to be held in Sri Lanka from December 2 to 17. Generally, under-23 players are selected for this tournament but now the players who are not covered under this age group have also been given a chance at the domestic level keeping in view their consistent good performance.
