MOSCOW, 11 Mar – Vladivostok “Admiral” for the first time in its history made it to the 1/4 finals of the Gagarin Cup, defeating the Ufa “Salavat Yulaev” in the first round of the KHL playoffs.

The sixth and decisive meeting of the series, held on Saturday in Vladivostok, ended with a score of 3:2 (0:1, 2:1, 1:1) in favor of the hosts. Pavel Shen (30th minute) and Ivan Yemets (34) scored for the winners, and Anton Berlev (58) scored the decisive goal. Oleksandr Khmelevsky scored a double for the guests (17 and 46).

“Admiral” won the series against “Salavat Yulaev” with a score of 4-2. The Far East team became the third participant in the 1/4 finals of the playoffs after Yaroslavl Lokomotiv and Omsk Avangard.
