After the Kolkata Knight Riders team players Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier were found to be Corona positive, the BCCI has asked all Delhi Capitals players to be quarantined.

It is worth noting that KKR played their last match against Delhi and in that match, Varun Chakraborty was part of the playing eleven. According to the news of Cricbuzz, the entire Delhi team has been asked to quarantine.

A Delhi Capitals official said while interacting with Cricbuzz, ‘We played our last match against KKR, due to which we have been advised to be quarantined and we are all in isolation. We are all inside our respective rooms. ‘ However, the team of Delhi could not get any information on how long they would have to stay in the quarantine. On May 4, the Delhi team will no longer be participating in the practice session at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium.

Gautralab said that it was decided to postpone today’s match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and KKR after Varun and Sandeep’s Covid-19 report came out positive. Shortly after that, three members of the Chennai Super Kings team were also hit by Corona.

Delhi Capitals played the match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 29 April and won by 7 wickets. For the team, Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan had a tremendous batting partnership of 132 runs for the first wicket.
