MOSCOW, 11 Mar – Bayern defeated Augsburg in the match of the 24th round of the German Football Championship.

The meeting in Munich ended with the score 5:3. As part of the hosts, Benjamin Pavard scored a double (19th and 35th minutes), Joao Cancela (15), Leroy Sane (45) and Alphonso Davis (74) scored one goal each. Mergim Berisha (3, 60, from the penalty spot) made a double for the guests, Irvin Cardona scored one goal (90+3).

Bayern (52 points) top the Bundesliga standings and are three points ahead of second-place Borussia Dortmund, who have played one match less. Augsburg (27) is in 13th place.
