MOSCOW, 17 Jan – The Borussia Monchengladbach football club refused 8 million euros for the transfer of goalkeeper Jann Sommer, which was offered by Bayern Munich, informs on his Twitter journalist Florian Plettenberg.

According to the source, Bayern offered 8 million euros in fixed payments and 1 million euros in bonuses for Sommer, but Borussia refused.

Monaco’s German goalkeeper Alexander Nübel will not return from loan to Bayern Munich this winter. The Munich club are looking for a replacement for Manuel Neuer, who suffered a broken tibia in December while skiing on holiday. It was reported that the goalkeeper had a successful operation and would miss the rest of the season.

Sommer has been with Borussia Dortmund since 2014. The 34-year-old goalkeeper has made 11 appearances for the club this season, four of which he has not conceded a single goal.
