This was the reason that RCB A scored a mammoth score of 212 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of four wickets.
Despite scoring 212 runs, Harshal Patel XI had to face defeat. Devdutt Padikkal’s team won the match on the last ball. Chasing the target, wicket-keeper batsman KS Bharat and captain Devdutt Padikkal batted brilliantly.
Devdutt Padikkal scored 36 runs off 21 balls and KS Bharat played a brilliant innings of 96 runs. RCB B needed three runs to win off the last two balls and the match was tied on the 5th ball. After this, RCB B won the match by hitting the best four on the last ball.
RCB will definitely be happy with the batting of AB de Villiers. It is very important for him to be in form to win the title.
