IPL 2021: Rishabh Pant felt ‘scared’ at Prithvi Shaw’s throw, seen saving his head, Video

Delhi Capitals captain and wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant is very active on the field and he also constantly encourages his fellow players. His team has done well so far in the 14th season of IPL and has won 6 out of eight matches. A video of Pant is going viral on social media during the last match against Punjab Kings. Delhi defeated Punjab Kings by seven wickets in the 29th match of the 14th season of IPL.

It is seen in the video that when Prithvi Shaw of Delhi Capitals throws the ball near Pant, he saves his head in fear. Although the ball comes out from their top, but the commentators also start laughing. Prithvi and Pant himself are also seen smiling later.

Punjab captain Mayank Agarwal shot on the fifth ball of the second over of the Punjab Kings innings on Marcus Stoinis of Delhi. After this, Prithvi picked up the ball while fielding and threw it strangely. The ball went over the head of wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant but he was scared to see it and sat down with both hands above the head to protect himself. Seeing this, other than the fellow players could not stop laughing.

Mayank Agarwal played an unbeaten inning of 99 runs in this match, but Delhi won by seven wickets at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium on the basis of a brilliant inning of the opener Shikhar Dhawan (69 *).

Delhi Capitals won the toss and bowled first, restricting Punjab to 166 runs for six wickets. Mayank hit 8 fours and 4 sixes in his unbeaten innings of 58 balls. Then Delhi achieved the target by losing three wickets in 17.4 overs. Dhawan scored unbeaten innings of 69 off 47 balls which included 6 fours and 2 sixes. Delhi won the sixth match in 8 matches and the team is now at the top of the table with 12 points.
