Kane Williamson got the captaincy in place of David Warner

Let us tell you that Kane Williamson was made the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the middle of IPL 2021. The performance of the team under David Warner was not good and for this reason, Kane Williamson was made the captain after removing him from the captaincy.

David Warner has won the title for Sunrisers Hyderabad under his captaincy. He is a key member of the team. However, due to poor captaincy, he was removed from the captaincy in the middle of the season and he also had to be out of the playing XI.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s performance in the first phase of IPL 2021 was quite disappointing. Hyderabad team managed to win only one match out of seven in the first leg. Sunrisers Hyderabad is currently at the last position in the IPL 2021 points table. They have to win all their matches if they want to reach the playoffs.
