Juventus have filed an appeal against deprivation of 15 points in the Italian football championship

MOSCOW, 21 Jan – Juventus intends to appeal the withdrawal of 15 points in the current Italian football championship in the Collegio di Garanzia dello Sport (Committee of Sports Guarantors), according to the club’s official website.
On Friday, the Court of Appeal of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) held a hearing on the resumption of the trial in the case of financial fraud. The FIGC prosecutor’s office deprived Juventus of 15 points for financial fraud, and also removed a number of club functionaries from football, including director Fabio Paratici, ex-president Andrea Agnelli, former chief executive Maurizio Arrivabene and vice-president Pavel Nedved.
The team from Turin dropped from third to 10th place in the standings of the Italian championship. Now she has 22 points instead of 37.
