Belarusian biathlete Lazovsky won the sprint at the fourth stage of the Commonwealth Cup

MOSCOW, 20 Jan – Belarusian biathlete Dmitry Lazovsky won the sprint at the fourth stage of the Commonwealth Cup, which takes place in Raubichi (Belarus).
Lazovsky overcame a distance of 10 km in 23 minutes 11.7 seconds, not allowing a single miss on two firing lines. Second and third places were taken by Russians Daniil Serokhvostov (1.8 seconds back; 1 miss) and Eduard Latypov (+15.1; 2).
The stage of the Commonwealth Cup with the participation of athletes from Russia and Belarus is held in Raubichi from January 19 to 22.
The Congress of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) in September decided to uphold the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes from international competitions until further notice amid the situation in Ukraine.
