Mayweather to fight former British MMA fighter

Boxer Mayweather will hold an exhibition fight against ex-MMA fighter Chalmers

MOSCOW, 24 Jan – American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. said that he will hold an exhibition fight against former mixed martial artist (MMA) British Aaron Chalmers.
The fight will take place on February 25 at the O2 Arena in London. Mayweather was previously scheduled to fight Liam Harrison, but the Briton pulled out due to a knee injury.
Mayweather is 45 years old, the American remains an undefeated boxer, in 50 fights he has 50 wins (27 by knockout). The athlete has a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympics in the weight category up to 57 kg. Bellator Chalmers, 35, retired from MMA in 2021. He has five wins and two losses.
