Medvedev wins 19th in a row and reaches the final of the Indian Wells tennis tournament
MOSCOW, 19 Mar – Russian Daniil Medvedev defeated American Francis Tiafoe in the semifinal match of the Masters tennis tournament in Indian Wells (USA), the prize fund of which is $8.8 million.
The meeting ended with a score of 7:5, 7:6 (7:4) in favor of the Russian, seeded at the tournament under the fifth number. Tiafoe had the 14th seeding number. Tennis players spent 1 hour and 46 minutes on the court. Medvedev won by converting the eighth match point.
