There has been a big reaction about Pakistan’s legendary all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez. Wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal has claimed that Mohammad Hafeez is very angry at the moment and may not participate in the T20 World Cup for Pakistan. He gave this response on his YouTube channel.

According to reports, Mohammad Hafeez was asked to return from the Caribbean Premier League early even though he had an NOC till September 18. Hafeez was called early for a camp in Pakistan.

Kamran Akmal targeted the Pakistan Cricket Board for this and said that the PCB should not have behaved like this with a senior player like Hafeez. He said that this is not the first time that Hafeez has been insulted like this.

He said, “I haven’t spoken to Mohammad Hafeez but I think he is very upset and may not even take part in the T20 World Cup. He may also announce his retirement before the World Cup. An experienced player You can’t behave like that.”

Such incidents will tarnish the image of Pakistan: Kamran Akmal

Criticizing the PCB, Kamran Akmal said that such incidents will tarnish the image of Pakistan cricket.

He further said, “It went wrong and I am not only talking about Hafeez but the whole of Pakistan cricket. It hurts our reputation as a cricketing nation. The same thing happened to me. With Hafeez. Whatever happened is completely wrong. You gave them NOC and called back early. Due to Kovid, flights have also become very expensive and after that they have to live in bio-bubble too.”

Let us tell you that four Pakistani players were quickly recalled from the Caribbean Premier League. These four Pakistani players were Mohammad Hafeez, Imad Wasim, Azam Khan and Asif Ali. Hafeez had requested the PCB to allow him to return after the CPL is over but he was not allowed to do so. While on the other hand Imad Wasim was given exemption in this matter and Hafeez is very angry with this.
