Ex-skier Nortug called boring the dominance of the Norwegian team in the marathon at the World Cup
MOSCOW, 11 Mar – Two-time Olympic champion in cross-country skiing, Norwegian Petter Nortug said that he was bored of watching his compatriots take the first ten places in the marathon at the World Cup in Oslo.
On Saturday, at the stage in Norway, a free style mass start was held, in which Simen Kruger won. The top ten were exclusively Norwegian skiers.
Also, the ex-athlete was surprised that only 36 people entered the race.
The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) due to the situation in Ukraine suspended the Russians and Belarusians from the final starts of last season. In October, the FIS Council extended the suspension for the 2022/23 season.
