The Norwegian women’s team won the last relay of the season at the KM biathlon stage
MOSCOW, March 11 – The Norwegian biathlon team won the last women’s 4×6 km relay race of the current season, held at the World Cup in Östersund (Sweden).
Juni Arnekleiv, Ida Lien, Ingrid Tandrevold and Marte Roiseland set a time of 1h 8m 0.7s with no penalties and four extra rounds. Lou Jeanmono, Chloe Chevalier, Caroline Colombo and Anais Chevalier-Bouchet of France were second (15.2 seconds back; 0 laps + 7 extra rounds), while Germany’s Janina Hettich-Waltz, Hanna Koebinger, Vanessa Voigt and Denise Hermann-Wick were third. (+27.2; 0 + 7).
The Congress of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) in September 2022 decided to uphold the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes from international competitions until further notice amid the situation in Ukraine.
