Olympic handball champion Bobrovnikova was hospitalized as planned
MOSCOW, 20 Jan – Left welterweight “Rostov-Don” Vladlen Bobrovnikov was hospitalized as planned at the Research Institute of Rheumatology. V.A. Nasonova in Moscow, according to the official Telegram channel of the handball club.
Some time ago, a 35-year-old athlete was diagnosed with scleroderma and Raynaud’s syndrome. Bobrovnikova will undergo treatment for two weeks.
Bobrovnikova is a six-time champion of Russia and the owner of the country’s Super Cup, as well as a seven-time winner of the Russian Cup. She also won the Coppa Italia twice and once each the Italian Championship and the EHF Cup.
As part of the Russian national team, Bobrovnikova won the silver of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, and at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro she became the Olympic champion. She also has a bronze medal at the World Championships in Japan.
