Pat Cummins changed his mind, not in PM Cares fund, but will donate money to UNICEF Australia’s India Covid-19 Crisis Appeal

Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins, playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, has made it clear that he has donated the amount to India in support of the war against the Covid-19 pandemic.

PM Sayers has not given in the fund. Cummins said that he has donated 50 thousand dollars to UNICEF Australia’s India Covid-19 Crisis Appeal. Cummins promised to give this amount to the PM Cares Fund a week ago.

India is suffering from a very serious health crisis and the 27-year-old fast bowler on Monday announced a donation for oxygen supply to hospitals struggling with growing cases of Covid.

After Cricket Australia’s (CA) financial support to UNICEF Australia, Cummins seems to have changed his mind. Cummins wrote on his Twitter handle, ‘Cricket Australia did a fantastic job, I have given my donation to UNICEF Australia’s India Covid-19 Crisis Appeal. If you can, please support others like https://india.unicef.org.au/t/australian-cricket. ‘

Cricket Australia on Monday pledged to help 50,000 Australian dollars in India’s fight against the second wave of Covid-19 and also said that they would raise more funds with the support of their player’s association and UNICEF.
