MOSCOW, 8 Jan – Real Sociedad beat Almeria in the match of the 16th round of the Spanish Football Championship, winning the third victory in a row.

The meeting, held on Sunday in Almeria, ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the guests. The winners scored David Silva (47th minute) and Alexander Serlot (52).

Real Sociedad have taken 32 points and remain in third place in the Spanish La Liga table, six points behind Barcelona and Real Madrid. Almeria are in 14th place with 17 points.
