MOSCOW, 12 Mar – Sochi hockey player Artem Ivanyuzhenkov said he was at a training camp in Sochi and had nothing to do with the murder in Podolsk.
On Sunday, the media reported that Ivanyuzhenkov was detained on March 12 in Podolsk near Moscow on suspicion of murder. Later, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that this information was not true.
Sochi said it did not receive information or official requests from law enforcement about Ivanyuzhenkov, noting that on March 10 and 11, the hockey player participated in the training process.
