MOSCOW, 6 Jan – Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova failed to reach the semi-finals of the tournament in Adelaide, Australia, the prize fund of which exceeds 826 thousand dollars.

Kudermetova, who has the fourth seed, lost in the quarterfinals to Romanian Irina-Kamelia Begu with a score of 5:7, 4:6. Tennis players spent 2 hours and 10 minutes on the court.

Run’s opponent in the semi-finals will be Belarusian Arina Sobolenko (second seed), who beat the Czech Marketa Vondrousova with a score of 6:3, 7:5.
