MOSCOW, 11 Mar – Two-time 1980 Olympic champion Swede Ingemar Stenmark congratulated American alpine skier Mikaela Shiffrin after she broke his record for the most World Cup wins.
On Saturday, Shiffrin won the slalom at the Swedish Are. This victory in the framework of the World Cup was the 87th in her career for the American.
