Russian Usman Nurmagomedov: ready to face any fighter at the Bellator Grand Prix
MOSCOW, 11 Mar – Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Usman Nurmagomedov said he was ready to face any opponent in the semifinals of the Bellator Lightweight Grand Prix.
On Saturday night, Nurmagomedov defeated the former champion of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) American Benson Henderson in the first round with a rear naked choke in the quarterfinals of the Grand Prix and defended the title of the champion of the organization.
In the semi-finals of the Grand Prix, the 24-year-old Russian will face the winner of the duel between Brent Primus (USA) and Mansour Barnaui (France).
“I don’t care, I’m ready to face any Grand Prix opponent,” he concluded.
