MOSCOW, 25 Jan – Samara “Wings of the Soviets” announced football player Vladimir Sychevy (Pisarsky) to play in the Russian Premier League (RPL) under his former name, according to the official website of the RPL.
On Wednesday, the winter transfer window officially opened in the RPL, which will close on February 22. Sychevoi moved to Krylya Sovetov from Orenburg on December 25, 2022. After his transfer, it was reported that he would play for the Samara team under the surname Pisarsky, which is his stepfather.
Previously, the striker has repeatedly said that he wants to change his name on a T-shirt, since it was his stepfather who raised him from early childhood with his mother. In the near future, the player, according to him, should receive a new passport, where he will officially have the surname Pisarsky.
This season, Sychevoi has played 15 matches in the RPL for Orenburg, in which he scored 14 goals. He shares the lead in the top scorer race with Spartak midfielder Quincy Promes.
