Homemade kvass from northern berries

You will need:

  • water – 2 l;
  • frozen cloudberries – 100 g;
  • frozen lingonberries – 100 g;
  • dried rose hips – 50 g;
  • dried hawthorn – 50 g;
  • coconut sugar or honey – 100 g;
  • raisins – about 10 berries.

We put all the berries in a glass or ceramic dish with a lid, fill it with drinking water. Add sugar, close and put in a warm place for several days. Open the lid every day and stir. After three days, filter the drink, pour into a bottle and add raisins. Close and put in the refrigerator for another day.

Pineapple kvass (according to the recipe of chef Sergey Leonov)

You will need:

  • water – 1 l;
  • cane sugar – 50 g;
  • peel, core of pineapple.

Dissolve sugar in a bottle of water, add chopped peels and core. Close and leave at room temperature for several days. Every day in the morning and in the evening we open the bottle, we drown the peels. On the third day we filter the kvass, pour it into a bottle and leave it for another day. After we put it in the refrigerator.

It is not recommended to drink more than 500 ml of kvass per day. In addition, the drink is not suitable for those who have cirrhosis of the liver, stomach problems, high blood pressure, kidney disease.
