Twenty Shesterkin saves helped Rangers beat Islanders in an NHL match
MOSCOW, 25 Nov – The New York Rangers beat the New York Islanders in a National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match.
The meeting, which took place at the UBS Arena, ended with a score of 4: 1 in favor of the guests. As part of the winners, Chris Crider scored a double (21st minute and 52nd), Kevin Rooney (35) and Barkley Goodrow (52) also scored goals. Andy Andreoff (44) became the author of the only goal for the hosts.
Islanders’ Russian goalkeeper Semyon Varlamov saved 17 shots out of 21. Rangers goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin made 20 saves. Forward Artemy Panarin scored no points.
