MOSCOW, 25 Nov – English “West Ham” on the road beat Austrian “Rapid” in the fifth round of the group stage of the Europa League.
The meeting ended with the score 2: 0 in favor of the guests. In the 40th minute, the forward of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Yarmolenko scored with the transfer of the former CSKA midfielder Nikola Vlasic. In time compensated by the first half, the penalty was converted by Mark Noble. Yarmolenko scored for the club for the first time since January. Crvena Zvezda (10) is leading in the standings, followed by Braga (9), Midtjylland (8) and Ludogorets (1), who have lost their chances for the European Cup spring. In the last round, Braga will host Crvena Zvezda, Ludogorets – Midtjylland, both games will be held on December 9th.
