“Torpedo” suffered the first defeat in the new KHL season from “Ak Bars”
KAZAN, 16 Sep – Kazan’s Ak Bars defeated Nizhny Novgorod’s Torpedo in a regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The meeting in Kazan ended with a strong-willed victory for the ice hosts with a score of 4:3 (0:0, 2:2, 2:1). The hosts scored goals from Dmitry Katelevsky (28th minute), Dmitry Yashkin (35), Kirill Semenov (44) and Stanislav Galiev (53). Maxim Letunov (22), Andrey Belevich (26) and Anton Silaev (52) scored for the guests.
