Dakar 2023 winner Al-Attiyah wants to compete in his seventh Olympics
MOSCOW, 23 Jan – Qatari rider Nasser Al-Attiyah is set to compete in the clay shooting competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, which will be his seventh of his career.
In January, 52-year-old Al-Attiyah became a five-time winner of the Dakar rally marathon in the off-road category.
Al-Attiyah is best known as a race car driver, but he also shoots skeet. The Qatari won a bronze medal in this event at the 2012 Olympics in London, then he defeated the Russian Valery Shomin.
