Dembele’s goal helped Al-Ittifaq beat Abha in the Saudi Arabian championship
MOSCOW, September 16 – Al-Ittifaq defeated Abha in the sixth round of the Saudi Arabian Football Championship.
The meeting, which took place on Saturday in Abha, ended with a score of 3:1. The visitors scored goals from Moussa Dembele (59th minute), Robin Quaison (76) and Hamed Al-Ghamdi (83). The hosts’ goal was scored by Karl Toko Ekambi (90+7, penalty).
Al-Ittifaq scored 13 points and moved up to fourth place in the table, Abha (6 points) is in tenth position.
