As: Al-Ittihad offered Ramos a two-year contract
MOSCOW, 29 Aug – Saudi football club Al-Ittihad is in talks with Spanish footballer Sergio Ramos, reports As.
According to the publication, the Saudi club offers the 37-year-old defender a contract for two years. It is noted that the player himself would like to receive a three-year contract.
Earlier media reported that Turkish Galatasaray, the North American Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami and two teams from Saudi Arabia are showing interest in Ramos.
Ramos left Paris Saint-Germain in June at the end of his contract. He also played for the Spanish Sevilla and Real Madrid, winning the Champions League four times and the Spanish championship five times. As part of the national team, he became a world champion and a two-time European champion.
In two seasons spent at PSG, Ramos played 57 matches, scored five goals and gave one assist, becoming the French champion twice.
