MOSCOW, 29 Aug – All participants of the 1/4 finals were determined at the European Women’s Volleyball Championship, which takes place in Belgium, Germany, Italy and Estonia.

The last two teams to reach the top eight were the national teams of Serbia and the Czech Republic. On Monday, the Serbian team outplayed the Swedish team in the 1/8 finals with a score of 3-0 (25:17, 25:13, 25:16), and the Czech team knocked out the Ukrainian team from the tournament – 3-2 (25:22, 25:16). 22, 20:25, 10:25, 15:12). Serbian and Czech volleyball players will compete with each other for reaching the semi-finals of the European Championship. Other pairs of 1/4 finals look like this: Italy – France, Turkey – Poland, Netherlands – Bulgaria. Matches of the 1/4 finals will be held on August 29 and 30.

The Russian women’s team was not allowed to compete due to the situation in Ukraine.
