MOSCOW, 20 Jul – Forward Paulo Dybala moved to the Italian “Roma”, according to the website of the Rome football club.
The contract with the 28-year-old Argentine is for three years. He joined the team on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Juventus, which he represented for seven seasons. In the new club, Dybala will wear number 21.
“The days leading up to the signing of the contract were full of emotions: the determination and the speed with which Roma showed that they wanted me mattered. I join a developing club that continues to lay an ever stronger foundation for the future, and coach José “Mourinho is an honor to work with. As a rival, I admired the atmosphere created by the Giallorossi fans. I can’t wait to greet them in an Roma shirt.”
“Roma” last season became the winner of the Conference League – the third strongest European Cup.
Dybala joined Juventus in 2015 from Palermo. The Argentinean became the five-time Italian champion with the Turin team, won the country’s Cup and Super Cup three times. In total, he played 293 matches for the club, scored 115 goals and gave 45 assists.
