Artem Gorlov replaced Vadim Garanin as the head coach of the Enisey football club

MOSCOW, June 20 – Artem Gorlov took over as the head coach of the Yenisei football club, according to the Krasnoyarsk club’s page on the VKontakte social network.
The 34-year-old specialist signed a two-year contract with the Krasnoyarsk club. Gorlov replaced Vadim Garanin, who, according to media reports, may soon lead Sochi.
“Thank you that Yenisey chose me, the most important thing here is not to break anything, to leave the created structure and style of play the same. This is my most basic and difficult task, the very first and most important step. I will gradually introduce my ideas, not break, not build anew, and improve what is already there. The main thing is stability,” Gorlov said.
Gorlov’s last place of work was the Znamya Truda club from FNL-2. Previously, he also headed the Latvian “Daugavpils”, “Noah Jurmala”, the Lithuanian “Palanga”, “Dolgoprudny”, “Kuban-2” and “Domodedovo”.
Last season, Yenisey finished fifth in the Football National League championship and reached the semi-finals of the Russian Cup, where they lost to future trophy holders Spartak Moscow.
