Atlético score seven unanswered goals against Rayo Vallecano
MOSCOW, 29 Aug – Atlético Madrid players defeated Rayo Vallecano away in the match of the third round of the Spanish championship, scoring seven goals to their opponents.
The meeting, held at the stadium “Campo de Vallecas” in Madrid on Monday, ended with a score of 7:0 in favor of “mattress”. Alvaro Morata (73rd and 84th minutes) scored a double for the winners, who came on as a substitute in the first half instead of Memphis Depay, who scored in the 16th minute. The winners also scored goals from Antoine Griezmann (2), Nahuel Molina (36), Angel Correa (79) and Marcos Llorente (86).
