MOSCOW, 27 Jul – Hockey players of Omsk Avangard beat their own farm club Omsk Wings, playing in the VHL, in the first friendly match of the KHL off-season.
The meeting in Omsk ended with the score 3:2 (0:1, 3:1, 0:0). Vladimir Bryukvin (27th minute), Arseniy Gritsyuk (32) and Vladimir Tkachev (37) scored for Avangard. Mikhail Gulyaev (1) and Vladislav Dzhioshvili (31) scored against Omsk Wings.
The match was played to a full house at the arena of the academy in Omsk. All tickets were sold out a week ago. Avangard played its first match in Omsk after four years in Balashikha.
