Avesh Khan was part of Team India for the WTC finals and England series

Avesh Khan of Delhi Capitals surprised everyone by giving a clean bold to Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli (12) in an IPL match. Earlier, he bowled Dhoni.

The BCCI senior selection committee on Friday announced a 20-man squad for the five-match Test series with England after the match, in addition to the World Test Championship final in New Zealand in June. The team includes Avesh Khan, who impressed everyone with his performance in the Indian Premier League.

The Delhi Capitals fast bowler surprised everyone by bowling cleanly to Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli (12) in a match of IPL 2021. Earlier, he bowled Dhoni. These two are the wickets which every bowler dreams of getting. Since then, his team had started discussing the entry into India.

Talking about the performance in the tournament, Avesh played 8 matches, while took 14 wickets in his name. He is second only to Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Harshal Patel among the highest wicket-taking bowlers.

The final of the Test Championship will be held in Southampton from 18 to 22 June and will be followed by a five-match Test series from 4 August to 14 September. In addition to the regular 20 players, four players have been placed in the team as standby. The first match of the five-match Test series will take place in Nottingham from 4 to 8 August.

After this, the second Test will be from 12 to 16 August at the Lodgers ground in London. The third Test will take place from 25 to 29 August at Leeds and the fourth from 2 to 6 September at The Oval in London. The fifth Test match of the series will be played in Manchester until 10 September.
