MOSCOW, 28 Aug – Belgian cyclist Remco Evenepoul knocked down one of the fans on his bike after his victorious finish in the third stage of the Vuelta a España.

The third stage, victorious for Evenepul, ended earlier on Monday in Arinsal. The video of the incident with the Belgian was published in the account of the Eurosport TV channel in the X social network (the former Twitter social network).

Immediately after the finish, Evenepool failed to brake in time and hit a woman who was standing next to the track. The Belgian fell off his bike, flipping forward over the handlebars, and smashed his face in the fall. The injuries sustained by the cheerleader are not specified.
