Berinchyk’s coach told Usyk if he could beat Joshua in a rematch

The Usyk-Joshua fight will preliminarily take place on August 20 in the city of Jeddah.

Head coach of Denys Berichnyk Yegor Golub spoke about his vision of the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua in an exclusive commentary to Ukrinform.

“This fight will definitely not be like the first fight. I am sure that boxers and coaches have already reviewed it several times, have worked on the mistakes and will try not to make the same mistakes. Joshua has changed trainers, but I don’t think he will change his boxing style. In such a short time it is unrealistic,” said Yegor Golub.

He is also confident that the new trainer Joshua will work on the psychological component of his ward.

“I think the new coach will work with his psychological state, but I know about Alexander’s motivation. He is charged, he wants to win, he knows how important it is now for our people. A real Cossack will enter the ring and do his job. The belts will remain in Ukraine,” added coach Denis Berinchyk.

As Ukrinform reported, in September last year, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision and became the new WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world heavyweight champion.

The second battle of Oleksandr Usyk against Anthony Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Jeddah.
