Berrettini beats Krajinovic to win the London tournament for the second year in a row
MOSCOW, June 19 – Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini beat Serb Filip Krajinovic in the final of the grass tennis tournament in London, the prize fund of which is more than 2.1 million euros.
The meeting ended with a score of 7:5, 6:4 in favor of the Italian, who received the second seed. The duration of the match was 1 hour 33 minutes.
Berrettini has won the London tournament for the second year in a row. In 2021, he defeated Briton Cameron Norrie in the final.
Players from Russia and Belarus have been banned from playing at grass tournaments in the UK under the auspices of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) due to the situation in Ukraine.
