Boxer Bivol: not against a rematch with Alvarez, but on new terms

MOSCOW, May 8 – Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol said he was not against a rematch with the Mexican Saul Alvarez, but for this he needs new conditions.
On Sunday in Las Vegas (USA), Bivol defeated Alvarez and defended his World Boxing Association (WBA Super) light heavyweight title. After the fight, the Mexican demanded a rematch.
“No problem, let’s talk about it (about the rematch). I wanted today’s fight for myself without any conditions, but for the rematch I need new conditions. Of course, this fight will happen. I want to thank everyone who believed in me,” said Bivol in the ring after the fight.
Bivol is 31 years old, the undefeated Russian in professional boxing has 20 wins (11 by knockout). 31-year-old Alvarez spent 61 fights in the professional ring, scoring 57 wins (39 by knockout) with two losses and two draws.
