World Cup winner skier Bolshunov on Saturday for the first time after surgery will go to the start
MOSCOW, 19 Nov – The current World Cup winner Russian Alexander Bolshunov on Saturday for the first time after jaw surgery will go to the start, said Anatoly Volkov, an employee of the Russian national ski team, on Instagram.
On Saturday Bolshunov in Finnish Muonio will take part in qualifying starts for the first stages of the World Cup.
“San Sanych (Bolshunov) will cleanly breathe 10 kilometers, do not pay attention. In general, everything is fine with him, he is working according to plan,” Volkov wrote.
Bolshunov in mid-October underwent surgery on the upper jaw after an incorrectly sealed neural canal of the tooth and only recently resumed training.
The first stage of the World Cup starts on November 26 in the Finnish Ruka.
