MOSCOW, 14 Sep – Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk is ready to help British boxer Anthony Joshua in preparation for the fight with World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, Ukrainian promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk said, quoted by Sky Sports.
Previously, Joshua accepted Fury’s challenge for the WBC heavyweight title.
“He (Usyk) said if necessary, he can come and give Fury a couple of tips,” Krasyuk said.
On August 20, Usyk defeated Briton Joshua for the second time and retained the WBA Super, World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and International Boxing Organization (IBO) world titles.
Earlier, the Daily Mail reported that Fury should fight Usyk. The duel was planned to be held in Saudi Arabia the day before the final of the World Cup in Qatar – December 17.
