“We deserve it,” said Julian Alvarez, scorer of the second goal against the Poles, on TyC Sports.
In the first half, the captain of the Argentina national team, Lionel Messi, did not forget the penalty, which upset and surprised the fans.
“I can’t believe it, but a hare can run away from the best hunter,” Oscar, a fan of the Argentine national team, said in confusion.
“In general, because of superstition, emotions and nerves, I turned away from the penalty spot, I could not watch,” Diego added.
However, after the victory, the Argentines seem to have quickly forgotten about this failure and are ready for a new match – against Australia on Saturday.
“I hope we win. It’s such a pride to reach the 1/8. Argentina have good players. Go, go Argentina!” – said another fan Flavio.
