Matthew Lorito becomes Dynamo Riga player

MOSCOW, Nov 10 – Canadian striker Matthew Lorito has signed a contract with Riga “Dynamo”, according to the website of the KHL club.
The terms of the agreement with the 31-year-old player were not specified.
Lorito spent most of his professional career in North America’s second-strongest American Hockey League (AHL), where he scored 98 goals and provided 152 assists in 345 games. In the 2017/18 season, Lorito won the AHL Calder Cup with the Grand Rapids Griffins.
The forward has two appearances for the Detroit Red Wings NHL, in which he scored one assist. This summer, Lorito got his first experience of playing in the European championship: he played 14 matches of the regular championship of the Swedish Hockey League for Djurgården.
