Yuzvendra Chahal said after losing the ODI series to New Zealand – the defeat is not big enough to churn.
Even after the 3–0 loss to New Zealand in the ODI series, Team India does not look worried. Yuzvendra Chahal of the team said that in the last few years we have performed brilliantly so it is not a serious thing to lose an ODI series. India lost by 5 wickets in the third ODI match played with New Zealand.
After this match, Yuzvendra Chahal said in the press conference ‘that if you look at the total, we have lost only the fourth or fifth series in the last four-five years. The other team also plays.’
‘You cannot win every match. We won one series, lost the other, so it’s not so serious as to be churned out. Chahal said the youngsters would learn a lot from the experience of playing in New Zealand.’
He also said ‘that it is not easy to play in New Zealand. But, by playing here, the youth will get to learn a lot. Chahal, however, expressed concern over the Indian fielding. He said that we need to work in this direction.’
Captain Kohli also said ‘that our bowlers lack patience but we are happy with our game. Kohli has spoken of returning to the Test series. Kohli said that the Test series is also important for us and we will make up for it.’
