Manchester United Champions League Carlos Tevez Takes Over at Argentine Rosario
MOSCOW, June 21 – The winner of the Champions League in the English “Manchester United” Carlos Tevez led the Argentine “Rosario Central”, according to the official Twitter account of the football club.
Tevez’s contract with the club is for a year. His coaching staff will include former field hockey player Carlos Retegui. In March, Christian Gonzalez left the post of head coach of Rosario Central.
In early June, 38-year-old Tevez announced his retirement. The striker’s last team was the Argentine Boca Juniors. Tevez also played for the English “West Ham”, “Manchester United”, “Manchester City”, the Italian “Juventus” and the Chinese “Shanghai Shenhua”. In 2008, he won the Champions League with Manchester United. In the final, which took place in Moscow, Alex Ferguson’s team defeated London’s Chelsea in a penalty shootout.
