MOSCOW, 27 Jul – Russian football player Denis Cheryshev said that several clubs are interested in him, he is in the process of negotiations with them.
Earlier, Marca reported that Cheryshev has no offers from any club. At the end of May, the midfielder left the Spanish “Valencia”. The player is in the status of a free agent. The player’s father, Dmitry Cheryshev, reported that his son was keeping fit in Spain.
“To everyone who is interested in my career and worries about me, I want to write a few words about my situation so that journalists don’t do it for me. Everything is fine with me: I train individually, I keep fit. Everything is fine with health, thank God. There are interesting proposals from a number of clubs, I am in the negotiation stage. Full of energy and desire to join the new team as soon as possible,” Cheryshev wrote on Instagram*.
“When will this happen? We need to make the right and balanced choice, and this takes time. I really hope that clarity will come soon and I will join a new team with ambitious tasks. Thank you all for your support and attention,” the player added.
Cheryshev is 31 years old, he played only in Spanish teams – Real Madrid, Sevilla, Villarreal and Valencia, in which he won the Spanish Cup. As part of the Russian national team, the midfielder played 33 matches (12 goals, 5 assists), reached the quarterfinals of the 2018 home world championship with the national team.
