22 Kochetkov saves help Chicago Wolves tie in Calder Cup final

MOSCOW, June 21 – The Chicago Wolves beat the Springfield Thunderbirds to tie the game in the American Hockey League (AHL) playoff final.
The meeting in Chicago ended with a score of 6:2 (4:0, 1:2, 1:0) in favor of the hosts. The winners included Josh Leivo (11th and 50th minutes) with a double, Richard Panik (2), Spencer Smallman (3), Joey Keane (9) and Andrew Poturalski (26) also scored. The guests scored Kalle Rosen (34) and Will Bitten (37) on the puck.
Russian goalie “Chicago Wolves” Petr Kochetkov made 22 saves. As part of the guests with an assist, striker Klim Kostin scored. Forwards Nikita Alexandrov of the Thunderbirds and Vasily Ponomarev of the Wolves did not score.
The score in the series up to four victories became 1-1. The third match of the final will take place on June 22 in Springfield.
