The meeting, held in Chicago, ended with a score of 3:1 (2:1, 0:0, 1:0) in favor of the hosts. Eric Gustafsson (2nd minute), Jonathan Toews (7) and Alex Debrinkat (48) scored as the winners. The guests scored Kevin Hayes (9).
