MOSCOW, 19 Jul – Chilean tennis player Michel Vernier Quinteros has been suspended for match-fixing, according to the website of the Tennis Aggression Authority (ITIA).
The term of disqualification of the 29-year-old tennis player is designed for 7 years and 5 months and will end on August 30, 2029. He was also fined 15,000 euros and 7,500 euros suspended. He acknowledged receiving money for influencing match results in 2018.
Quinteros is the 730th racket of the world, his highest place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) is 664th.
